**THE ROLE**

As the Communications Lead, you will spearhead our internal and external communications for the Duratec Limited group of companies, which includes Duratec, DDR Australia, WPF, and MEnD. This role is pivotal in strategically engaging all our stakeholders, inspiring our employees, and fostering connections to our strategy and brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Align communication initiatives with organisational goals and ensure their effective delivery
- Develop and implement audience-focused communication strategies
- Drive external engagement and manage media inquiries
- Provide strategic input and coordination for corporate events
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and continuous improvement in communications
- Oversee communications for corporate campaigns and projects
- Craft content for diverse communication channels, tailoring style and tone to suit different audiences
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to manage and mitigate potential risks
- Ensure all communications align with and enhance the company's brand identity
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors and industry partners

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a strategic thinker with creative flair and have managed teams and stakeholders in a multi-brand environment.

**Essentials**
- 5 + years' experience in internal communications role
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write and edit content and adapt styles for tone of voice and audience
- Strategic thinking
- Excellent organisational and time management skills\Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools
- Experience working within the construction industry is desirable

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
- Driver's License
