**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a **genuine, respectful, and supportive companion** to assist a client with **community participation** in a way that empowers independence and respects choice..

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the client to access community activities of their choice
- Being a companion who enables rather than instructs
- Encouraging participation without being directive
- Providing emotional and social support

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be calm, patient, proactive, and dedicated to high-quality care. You understand the importance of safety, respect, and person-centred support.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 6 months experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Manual Handling and Infection Control training
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of duty of care, privacy, and professional boundaries

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- 25% (preferred)
