A service based in Boronia Heights is looking for a passionate and organised Assistant Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance

**Shift times will be**: Monday to Friday. 7:00AM - 9:00AM (Rise Then Shine) and 3:00PM - 6:)0PM (Stay and Play), with additional holiday program work available at another nearby service.

About the role
Co-leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Confidence to lead a large group of children Flexibility and adaptability Passion and creativity for programming and activities Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights

Holds or is currently enrolled in an ACECQA approved Diploma (see ACECQA website for more information)
