Australia Redfern Street Dental Full time

We are looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our practice in Redfern for anywhere between 2 and 5 days a week. We are about to lose a DA due to a move interstate.

It is our priority to hire someone with relevant DA experience in Australia. Applicants without the relevant experience will not be considered for the role.

The role will mostly involve a mix of chair side assisting, lab work and steri. However, as a small practice the role will require someone who is flexible and willing/able to occasionally sub in at reception, and with other tasks around the practice.

Has at least 2 years experience in:

- Customer/Patient facing roles
- Chairside assistance during clinical procedures
- Sterilisation of clinical instruments and infection control
- Cleaning and preparing the surgery for dental treatments

Have the following attributes:

- A patient-oriented attitude, and willingness to help
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- An eye for detail and a commitment to providing the best possible service
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A desire to learn and develop
- Fluent in English
- On the job training will be provided for our practice management system (Praktika)

About Redfern Street Dental:
The practice is situated in a very central and convenient location, close to public transport, with plenty of on street parking close by, and great cafes and restaurants to visit during your breaks. The team is young, vibrant and very friendly.

We are a relatively new 2 chair practice in Redfern (since March 2022). A fully digital practice, with brand new equipment, including CEREC, iTero scanner, Aquacare Twin, composite warmers, Sprintray 3D Printer, rotary endo, Gemini laser, and OPG.

We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of patient care, creating an environment that is warm and inviting, and one which makes our patients enjoy their visit to their dentist. Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
