About the Role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to operate, maintain and support CSC cyber security services in order to protect financial and information assets. You will collaborate with project and technology teams to support day-to-day maintenance and uplift activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement and manage cyber security infrastructure, toolsets & rulesets including cloud security, firewalls, SIEM, application control, PAM, email security etc.
Support and maintain existing security configurations and provide recommendations for improvements.
Produce security documentation, plans and procedures on tooling and processes.
Assess the relevance of new and emerging cyber security suppliers and technologies.
Contribute to the security team's overall responsibilities including incident response.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You will require tertiary qualifications in cyber security, computer science or equivalent work experience. AGSVA clearance is desirable. Experience in implementing Microsoft Defender and Intune is also essential.
You will need extensive knowledge of cybersecurity areas including cloud security, SIEM, application control, PAM, email security and network security. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple security frameworks and industry good practices is required.
