You will play a significant role in supporting our team to enhance data management and analytics across the balance sheet and statistical reporting function and meet increasing regulatory and business-driven needs.

Are you working in financial or regulatory reporting with a passion for data and how it is used? Are you interested and excited about exploring and experimenting with the latest data techniques to partner with business, enhance data governance and improve reporting outcomes? If so, we would love you to join our high-performing team in our Financial Management Group.

With increasing regulatory reporting requirements, and a high focus on data quality, you will be able to optimise reporting processes, facilitate increased business insights, enhance data governance and reduce data risk and costs. Using your knowledge of reporting and data, this will range from designing and automating processes around data lineage and controls, data profiling and analytics, interactive metrics and reporting impact assessments.

Finally, you'll bring knowledge of, and a genuine interest in regulatory reporting, and be a highly motivated and organised individual with strong interpersonal skills. Your technical skills and qualifications will include:

- a tertiary degree in Business/Commerce and 5+ years' post-qualification experience in the financial services or investment banking industry
- previous experience within a data management and analytics
- extensive experience in financial or regulatory reporting risk and controls with a data focus
- commercial experience with at least one of the following technologies will be viewed favourably: Tableau/Power BI, Alteryx/Talend and R/Python
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from non-technical teams

You will also have tenacity, agility and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment and be a natural collaborator who can initiate and lead conversations with business leaders regarding anticipated and emerging opportunities.
