Cater Care is seeking a seasoned Catering Manager to join our team in North Sydney working in a Monday to Friday role with occasional hours outside that for events.

**Description**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Managing and leading the catering team to deliver high-quality food services in line with client expectations and industry standards.
- Developing and implementing innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements while ensuring nutritional balance.
- Overseeing the procurement of food supplies, equipment, and resources, maintaining effective stock control and budget management.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Training and mentoring catering staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Ideally you would have**:

- Prior experience in a similar role within the education or university sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- A sound understanding of menu planning, dietary requirements, procurement procedures, and budget management within the food service industry.
- Certification or qualifications in hospitality management or related field would be advantageous.
