**The Role**

As a Residential Lighting Designer / Office Support, you will be primarily based at our commercial offices in Melrose Park, with occasional travel to our partner builder's offices and Beacon Design Studio Stores. Your role will involve connecting directly with builder's clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert lighting and electrical solutions to enhance their new build homes. The role will allow you to be liaison with builder's selections teams, estimating teams and electrical contractors. Additionally, You will assist with office support responsibilities, including sales, customer service and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret architectural and electrical plans effectively.
- Develop lighting design plans that align with customer needs and design concepts.
- Recommend suitable lighting products and placements to deliver professional, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
- Utilize technical expertise to ensure successful and efficient installations.
- Introduce the consultation service to the builders' clients.
- Organise & Schedule consultations at reasonable intervals allowing time for planning & completing designs.
- Provides a prompt efficient and personalised service to builder's clients.
- Provide expert advice ensuring the client's needs are met and exceeded.
- Review plans, ensuring all information is accurate & fit the client's need, prior to signoff.
- Update any alterations or amendments required in a timely manner.
- Fulfill administrative duties, attend to phone enquiries, maintain consultation records and safety procedures, and complete paperwork.
- Provide support in preparing quotations, purchase orders and invoicing.
- Handle product packing and dispatch, monitor deliveries and verify stock room entries.
- Provide support to Sales Associates within the Commercial office.
