Full time work and study Opportunities will be available at the following sites: Jeparit, Kaniva, Natimuk, Nhill, Rainbow and Rupanyup.
About the traineeship...Successful applicants will complete a Diploma of Nursing and be paid to study and work while progressing to become an Enrolled Nurse.
Trainees will receive practical training across aged care and acute settings in a dynamic and rewarding work environment.The Enrolled Nurse (EN) Traineeship Program in early 2026 (course duration – 2 years).
Upon completion of the course, successful trainees will qualify as Endorsed Enrolled Nurses.Trainees will be paid per hour for their study time and placement.
Throughout the traineeship, 400 hours of clinical experience will be completed across West Wimmera Health Service.Classes will be held at Horsham for three days during the week (days to beconfirmed) with the remaining two days shadowing qualified team members at a WWHS facility.We aim to offer this comprehensive program to all in the wider community who will embrace this career development opportunity and gain competent and professional nursing skills to provide care within our communities in the West Wimmera Health Service catchment area.KEY SELECTION CRITERIAEssential: Effective communication and organisational skills.
Demonstrated excellent time and resource management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others.
Set high standards of performance for themselves and others.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboard skills.
Desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support PRE-REQUISITES: NDIS Worker Screening Clearanc Working with Children Check Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives Australian Driver's License.
