Tax Manager Job Description
Job Overview:
This role is a key position within our Finance team, responsible for ensuring compliance with global tax requirements and solving complex tax issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of international tax matters and be able to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations
Identify and address tax issues across multiple jurisdictions, implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities
Manage tax audits and prepare all required documentation promptly
Build and maintain strong relationships with external tax consultants and tax authorities
Conduct deep research on tax issues and prepare clear, actionable guidance
Analyze financial statements for tax implications and advise accordingly
Coordinate with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Monitor tax calendars to ensure all filings are submitted on time
Recommend tax-efficient business practices and identify potential savings opportunities
Provide timely advice on matters such as withholding tax, sales tax, R&D credits, and relevant contract language
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
6+ years' experience as a Tax Manager or in a senior role within a Big Four public accounting firm
