Reference: 101200.RoleAs a Power Platform Developer within the MS Apps & Automation Team in CSIRO's IMT Business Unit, you will contribute to the design and delivery of solutions that support our strategic and operational objectives.Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and testers as part of a high-performing DevOps team.
This role will see you engaged in a variety of activities, adapting to change and applying initiative while also working under guidance as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesAdapt and/or develop original solutions to meet the provided requirementsProvide technical advice that is aligned with the overall solution designs, architecture and frameworkRespond to production issues and routine maintenance activities as requiredSuccessfully complete assigned development tasks as specified by due datesUse sound judgement when dealing with unexpected or competing project priorities or issuesContribute actively to all stages of project delivery, from end-to-endQualifications and Skills2-3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform, specifically with Power Pages and Power AutomateProficiency in Microsoft App development utilizing Azure App Service and Power Platform and consuming channels like Microsoft Teams AppsProficiency in Power Platform and low code technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issuesDemonstrated ability to manage several competing project priorities simultaneouslyCustomer-focused approach when formulating project solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholdersMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to operational excellenceSelf-motivated and proactive in identifying potential issuesDesirable: Experience with Dynamics Portal online; Experience using Power BI and data integrationTo be considered you will need2-3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform, specifically with Power Pages and Power automateProven technical skills as listed aboveEligibilityApplications open to Australian CitizensSuccessful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at NV1 LevelAppointment may be subject to national police check and other security/medical/character requirementsAdditional informationFlexible working arrangements: We work flexibly and offer options for how, when and where you workDiversity and inclusion: We are committed to diversity and enabling all staff to contribute their best workAbout CSIRO: CSIRO is Australia's national science agency, solving challenges through science and technologyHow to applyPlease apply online and provide a cover letter and CV that demonstrate your motivation and ability to meet the role requirements.Applications close28 September 2025, 11:00pm AEST
