**About Us**:
Common Grounds Corner is a cosy and vibrant café located in the heart of Gowrie. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee and delicious food, all within a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and passionate weekend Barista to join our team.

As the weekend Barista, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of specialty coffee is served during the busiest part of the week. You will lead and motivate our team of baristas and maintain the café's cleanliness and ambiance. Your role will be pivotal in creating an outstanding experience for our customers and fostering a positive work environment for our staff. Building relationships with our valuable, regular customers and ensuring a positive and up beat attitude is paramount.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coffee Preparation and Service**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to the highest standard.
- Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of current coffee trends and techniques.
**- Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
**- Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying the manager if orders need to be placed.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock to maintain freshness and quality.
**- Cafe Operations**:

- Maintain standard operating procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Available to work most weekends.
- A passion for coffee and a commitment to quality.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $37.43 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
