
Vegetation Services Manager

SA Power Networks is seeking a motivated and experiencedVegetation Services Managerto lead the delivery of our vegetation management programs.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of our operations while driving a positive team culture and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
About the role
As the Vegetation Services Manager, you will:
Oversee the financial and operational management of vegetation programs, ensuring compliance with theElectricity Act 1996and associated regulations.
Provide leadership to the vegetation work group, promoting a vision and culture that drives productivity and business success.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and prioritise work programs that meet business and legislative obligations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and contractors to improve customer service and ensure compliance.
Monitor and manage contractor performance to ensure work is delivered safely, meets quality standards, and complies with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in vegetation management practices.

About you
We're seeking a leader who:
Has proven experience in managing operational programs, preferably in vegetation management or a related field.
Demonstrates strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
Is knowledgeable about regulatory compliance, particularly under theElectricity Act 1996and its regulations.
Excels in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, both internally and externally.
Has a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Is skilled in contractor management and performance oversight.
Foster a strong safety culture by setting clear expectations and supporting consistent safety practices across Vegetation Services.
