Financial Planning

We have created a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager position with the responsibility to provide decision support and domain expertise in the design, delivery, analysis, and interpretation of the financial management information used to run the Southern Cross Care business, through a business partnering model.

Your role will focus on partnering with the business to drive better financial and social outcomes, developing budget and forecast models that aligns with the support of the implementation of strategic plans, the preparation and distribution of management reports and commentary to provide operating metrics and insights, focused on key areas for operational and corporate leaders attention, plus much more.

**You will strategically contribute to the organisational strategic plan by**:

- Being a trusted business partner to operational and corporate managers to support their business decision making, maximise financial outcomes and support achievement of SCC's purpose
- Owning the preparation of the annual 3 -year plan and mid
- year forecast to support business decisions making and accurately reflect where the Executive and board are taking the business. This includes revenue, expenses and capital expenditure for each operating facility and corporate functions.
- Prepare and distribute the management reports including profit & loss, balance sheets, cashflow, variance analysis and commentary to provide operating metrics and insights, focused on key areas for operational and corporate leaders' attention.
- The ability to identify relevant business and system process issues, support the improvement of actions efficiency in the business, maximises financial outcomes and achievement of SCC's purpose.
- Own the financial models, used by the business to support all major business initiatives
- This position has 3 direct reports currently.

**Essential**
- Significant experience in business partnering with operational and corporate leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal, client relationship management and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem - solving ability.
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail and a passion to meet deadlines.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives, particularly understanding root cause analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills

**Desirable**
- Experience in Epicor ERP (or similar)
- Demonstrated competency and understanding of the Health, Aged Care or Not-for-Profit Sectors
