Job Description
This role is for a skilled
full-stack developer
who can create new apps and enhance the functionality of existing software as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-stack web development, including proficiency in Python, Django, and SQL relational databases. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux, Agile, and DevOps methodologies is also essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the software development team to deliver high-quality software on time
Identifying and resolving software defects, providing excellent customer service
Participating in code review processes to ensure best practices are followed
Performing functional testing on development and staging environments
You will also require:
A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or similar field)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
Strong organisational skills, including effective time management and solid problem-solving abilities
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Proficiency in Python, Django
Experience using SQL relational databases, PostgreSQL preferred
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
