We are recruiting for a Local Manager for the South East Monaro Local Team located at Cooma and also a Local Manager for the Far South Coast Local Team located at Bega.
The Local Manager leads, plans and coordinates the delivery of programs and advisory services at the local level to deliver LLS strategic objectives and the Local Strategic Plan. This role presents a unique opportunity to improve service delivery which positively impacts farmers and land managers experiencing challenging times through the provision of strong management and motivation of staff. The ability to act without supervision and make decisions on operations, resourcing and workflow of the team along with the capacity to achieve agreed business outcomes is essential to success.
South East Local Land Services strives to achieve excellence and understands that strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships, along with knowledgeable and engaged staff, are critical to success. Your expertise and experience in negotiating with various customers and stakeholders and ability to successfully spearhead and develop diverse programs and projects will need to be a highlight of your career.
The need to utilise your strong negotiation skills will ensure collaboration with an in-depth understanding of other government agencies, customers, stakeholders and investors on local issues and concerns will act as pivotal to your success in this role.
To be considered for this role you will have experience in successfully supervising a team and achieving business outcomes against a plan, hold a current Class C NSW Drivers Licence and have the ability and willingness to travel.
