**Introduction**:
Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care facility in Penrith. This part-time role follows a rotating fortnightly roster, offering a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, perfect for someone seeking consistent part-time hours.
**Roster**:
Week 1
**Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday**: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
**Saturday additional shift**: 7:45 AM - 1:15 PM
**Total**: 17 hours
Week 2
**Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday**: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
**Total**: 12 hours
**Description**:
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
