Your Role as Finance Manager
As the Finance Manager, you will be the key financial contact within the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and performing controlling tasks in close cooperation with the CFO. Additionally, you will handle VAT filings and provide broad support for financial processes within the company.
Responsibilities
You will maintain reliable and accurate financial records.
You will help ensure compliance with laws and regulations within the company.
You will manage the monthly and year-end closing for financial reporting purposes.
You will prepare audits for external audits conducted by our financial partners.
You will analyze financial bottlenecks and contribute to ongoing process optimization.
You will prepare the audit file and support the audit process.
You will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Qualifications
HBO work and thinking level, with a degree in a relevant field (AA is a plus).
At least 5 years of experience in similar financial roles.
A self-reliant and proactive working attitude, demonstrating ownership, strong numerical skills, and structured work processes.
You are the financial conscience of the organization: reliable, accurate, alert, critical, and solution-oriented.
Experience with Exact Globe and Synergy is a plus.
Experience with VAT-related issues, preferably in an international context.
Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
