**THE ROLE**
- **Data Accuracy Maintenance**:Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all databases.
- **Month-End Reporting**:Manage the month-end reporting process by coordinating between the various data teams and validating data accuracy and ensuring data is correctly reconciled.
- **Budget and Forecast Support**:Provide technical assistance to the Finance team during budgeting and forecasting processes.
- **Visualisation**: Develop and maintain visual dashboards and reports to present financial data effectively to stakeholders.
- **Process Improvement and Automation**:Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial data processes, including automating data collection and financial reporting to enhance efficiency.
- **Ad-Hoc Data Requests**:Respond promptly to ad-hoc data inquiries from stakeholders, supplying accurate and timely information.
- **Collaborate**: Work closely with Finance, IT and Operations to support informed decision making

**ABOUT YOU**
- 2+ years' relevant experience.
- Good understanding of relational databases with strong SQL desirable.
- Experience in working with large, complex datasets, including building queries and extracting data.
- Prior experience with Power BI essential, including evidence of training.
- A natural problem solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to take accountability.

**Desirable** **skills and qualifications**
- Degree in Data Science, Finance, or relevant qualification
- Experience working with a project-based / construction company
- Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) or other Oracle software
