The role The role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Mental Health Court by managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring accurate and timely processing, storage, and distribution of documents. This includes creating and maintaining files in SharePoint, distributing evidence to witnesses, and updating consumer records and Mental Health Act 2016 status within the Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA). The incumbent must adhere to service quality standards, health, and safety procedures to maintain a high standard of service delivery and workplace safety.
The successful personTo excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of the Mental Health Act 2016 and its associated administrative processes, or be able to quickly develop this knowledge. A strong grasp of office procedures and advanced administrative abilities are also essential.
Additionally, you must be capable of efficiently managing and prioritizing your workload, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to shifting priorities and business demands. Proficiency in computer skills, including the effective use of office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases, is also required.
