At our Brendale site, we produce blow moulded packaging that meet the most stringent requirements for products ranging from industrial chemicals through to food and pharmaceuticals.

This is a great opportunity to step up your Maintenance experience into a Supervisor role, overseeing a team of 5. Reporting to the Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will assist with planning and executing the mechanical maintenance function, whilst providing support to other departments i.e. projects, production.

**Job Description**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the MEX maintenance schedule for mechanical works at the Brendale site
- Raise and Issue MEX Works Orders from Requests
- Coordinate and balance workload for site Mechanical Trades and Contractors
- Liaise with Electrical Trades and Electrical Supervisor
- Assign scheduled tasks and mechanical breakdown tasks to site Trades and Contractors
- Support Continuous Improvement Projects to achieve improved Safety, Productivity, Quality & Reliability
- Develop and maintain spare parts inventory
- Engage in relevant WHS campaigns that actively drive a culture of behavioural safety and preventative safety measures and activities.
- Maintain quality standards and controls to manufacture and produce packaging solutions that meet customer expectations and requirements
- Ensure that work is carried out in a safe working manner (Take5 & LOTO) and maintaining safe working environments.
- Issuing and amending SOPs.

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

- Improve machine availability by working with Engineering Manager on improvement and reliability programs
- Regularly update MEX system status & use.
- Supervise and mentor team
- Bring solid experience in manufacturing processes
- Understand "good practice" preventative maintenance strategies
- Utilise MEX or equivalent maintenance operating system
- Understand Blow moulding or want to gain experience in this industry
- Utilise your Trades qualification, Fitter qualification or equivalent
