Learn more at About the roleAs a Solutions Architect at Ingram Micro, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating our cloud growth and strengthening our position as a trusted AWS distributor.
You'll be responsible for onboarding accounts into AWS via Ingram Micro, enabling partners to transact efficiently and confidently.This role is at the heart of supporting our reseller and vendor ecosystem, providing pre-sales technical support, solution design, and enablement that helps partners architect secure, scalable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.
You'll collaborate with account teams and internal stakeholders to drive adoption, uplift partner capabilities, and position Ingram Micro as the go-to cloud solutions aggregator.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist partners with onboarding accounts into AWS via Ingram Micro to streamline transactions and recognise revenue opportunitiesProvide pre-sales technical support and solution design, and reduce deal cycle timesGuide resellers in architecting cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-effectiveDeliver workshops, training, and enablement sessions to uplift partner technical capabilitySupport partners with tender responses, proposals, and go-to-market activities involving AWS solutionsCollaborate with AWS account teams and vendors to align strategies and strengthen market presenceAdvocate best practices, including the Well-Architected Framework, security, and cost optimisationMaintain AWS certifications and stay current with new services and innovationsWork with the wider Ingram Micro Cloud team to maximise AWS adoption and revenue growthWhat You'll BringYou'll be confident engaging both technical and business stakeholders, comfortable facilitating workshops, and trusted as an advisor on solution design.
Whether you're an experienced architect or an emerging cloud professional, you'll thrive in enabling partners and driving AWS adoption through practical, customer-centric solutions.Your ability to explain concepts clearly, support partners through the sales cycle, and deliver enablement that grows their cloud practice will make you a valuable addition to the team.You'll haveProven experience designing or supporting AWS cloud solutionsA solid understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda)Knowledge of AWS security, compliance, and cost optimisation best practicesExperience with hybrid cloud architectures and migration strategiesFamiliarity with containers and serverless (ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway)Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)Strong presentation and communication skills for partner enablementRelevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional preferred)Knowledge of the IT channel and cloud adoption landscape would be an advantageWhat's on Offer: Your growth is our priority.
