Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to oversee all finance and budgeting functions within our organisation.
This critical leadership role is responsible for the preparation of key internal and external reports for the Finance Committee, senior management, and the Department of Health. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing quality improvement and system performance, while also collaborating with senior staff to shape and implement both short and long-term Strategic and Business Plans. A key focus of the role is to lead and inspire a professional finance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial management and support across the organisation.
Our Region:
Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around throughout the northeast.
An easy 2 1/2 hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities.
We have over 11 schools including private Catholic and Anglican schooling options for pre-year 12.
