The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cabinet Maker to join our talented team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about woodworking, take pride in delivering quality work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, factory-based working environment.
(NB: as a wholesale manufacturer, we do not do on-site installations, so the role is entirely factory-based.)
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications with accuracy.
Construct custom cabinetry, including kitchen cabinets, vanities, and other wood-based fixtures.
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision and craftsmanship.
Operate panel saws, drop saws, and hand tools safely and effectively.
Collaborate with the design team and clients to bring their visions to life.
Assist with rework and modifications as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a cabinet maker in a similar role, supported by relevant trade qualifications.
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high-quality finishing skills.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Good physical fitness and the capacity to lift heavy items as required.
Most importantly, able to operate in fast-paced, demanding but fulfilling environment.
