**The position**

SCOTS PGC College is seeking a qualified and passionate English Teacher for a **contract** position
based in Warwick. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational
experience of our Middle School students, fostering their love of language, literature, and
communication.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for Term 1, 2025.

**What you'll be doing**
- Developing strong, professional relationships with your students.
- Delivering engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans and teaching strategies
- Assessing and providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic
- growth
- Collaborating with the teaching team to share best practices and contribute to the overall
- educational objectives of the school
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress and
- performance
- Participating in professional development opportunities to continually expand your

teaching expertise

**What we're looking for**
- Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary school level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and
- colleagues
- Passion for education and a commitment to student-centric learning
- Ability to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and
- learning
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Queensland College of
