Join the team
Store Managers at Kmart embody our values and are responsible for fostering a positive store culture focused on customer experience and safety. You will oversee the financial performance of the store and develop future leaders through effective succession planning.
What you'll be doing
Manage the store's financial performance
Build, coach, and inspire your team
Implement plans and strategies to increase sales
Reduce shrinkage and expenses through strategic initiatives
Provide clear direction to management team
Enhance the overall customer experience within your community
To be successful in this role you'll have
Prior experience as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment
Experience coaching and leading large, diverse teams, with a focus on development strategies
Strong commitment to safety, customer focus, and motivating teams to excel daily
Ability to build strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, and stakeholders
Experience in budget and financial management, including wage control
