We currently have vacancies in Papua New Guinea, Bougainville, Uganda , Arnhem Land , Timor-Leste and Mareeba - Australia.In the hangar, our typical days usually involve inspections.
Much of our work is preventative so by carrying out inspections every 100 or 200 operational hours, we are able to catch most things before they become problems.
Field repairs for the occasional break down in remote locations can provide interesting logistics and problem solving challenges that add to the variety in this amazing role.
In some of our larger facilities, we're also able to take on some bigger projects too, that might involve delving into parts of an aircraft not normally opened, to replace entire avionics systems, or stripping all of the paint off an aircraft to carry out structural repairs then repaint in our new colour scheme.
