Job Opportunity
This key leadership position within our Water Division requires a technical expert who can provide guidance and leadership in all aspects of structural engineering. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing structural consulting work, including client relationships, project scope definition, and team supervision.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater projects. They will provide technical direction on multidisciplinary projects, develop design solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers
Develop design solutions for water/wastewater projects
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their technical skills
Requirements
Degree in civil or structural engineering
Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status
8 years' experience in an engineering consultancy
Leadership abilities and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
