Company Description:Calm Minds Clinic is an established holistic healthcare clinic committed to building a dynamic team of allied health professionals.Role Description:This is a contract role for a Psychologist.
The Psychologist will be responsible for providing therapy and counseling services to clients, conducting psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans.
This is a hybrid role, with work being performed at home and on-site at our clinic in Geelong.Qualifications and Experience:Ability to conduct psychological assessments - in particular for autism and ADHDExcellent communication and listening skillsKnowledge of best-practice interventionsExperience working with diverse populationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesMinimum one year experience with demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practicesGenerally Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registered)If you are a General Registered Psychologist, it is desirable that you hold a Medicare Provider Number (though, support can be given to attain this).
About You:Experience working with NDIS clients is highly desirableA desire to or interest in completing assessments, for example, autism and ADHD assessmentsExperience working with clients across the lifespan who present with various presentationsAbility to work independently and able to commit to the clients referred to you by Calm Minds ClinicOwn ABN (or have willingness to obtain one)Own computer/ laptop to engage with clients who prefer to be seen via Telehealth (must also have stable internet connection and a private workspace whilst working from home).
