**About Us**:
The Strategic Communication & Engagement (SCE) branch is responsible for the department's corporate communications, sponsorship and events as well as media and social media. Services provided by SCE ensures that the department has a strategic corporate communications framework and consistent approach to engaging with schools, members of the community, the media, business, and other government agencies.
About the Role

**Responsibilities include**:

- Developing sponsorship strategies to support key departmental initiatives.
- Supporting schools, Regional Offices and Divisions within the department by providing best practice advice and overseeing sponsorship agreements
- Proactively building relationship with current and future sponsors
- Developing sponsorship proposals and evaluations as well as managing the sponsorship procedure and reporting requirements.
- Represent the department as part of the whole-of-government sponsorship network and manage requests.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
