**About Right at Home Southern NSW**

We currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team in Tumut. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients and administering medications
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations

Morning shifts (may change with changing client needs)
- **Monday-Fri 7am-9.30am**:

- **Weekend shifts 7am-9.30am**

**Criteria**:

- **Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Comprehensive insurance (desirable)

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- National Police Check
- NSW Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- 3 COVID19 Vaccinations

**Salary**: $37.14 - $81.70 per hour
