The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members.Grade 4 Team Leader - Forklift Operations, Hume RdAt our Hume Road facility in Melbourne, we are seeking ahands-on Grade 4 Team Leader – Forklift Operations to join our Local Transport team.This role combines operational forklift duties with frontline leadership.You'll not only operate safely and efficiently but also guide a small team, ensuring compliance, performance, and the smooth execution of daily loading and unloading activities.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Safely operate forklifts to load/unload transport trucksDirect, support, and oversee a small team to achieve operational goalsSet clear performance expectations and monitor progressPlan and organise transport loads with the support of the wider transport teamMonitor load safety and efficiency to ensure timely dispatchComplete and check relevant documentation and recordsEstimate load limits for safe storage and transport of goodsLead by example in upholding safety standards, COR compliance and hazard managementContribute to toolbox talks, continuous improvement, and team developmentStep into operational duties where required to support your teamWhat You BringA strong safety-first mindset with knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR)Current forklift licence and proven operational experienceLeadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse/transport environmentAbility to communicate clearly, set expectations and support team developmentStrong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracyCommitment to continuous improvement and collaborative team cultureWhy Lineage?
