About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Physiotherapist to join a dynamic Physiotherapy Department in a hospital setting in North Queensland.
This role involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy care, primarily focused on an acute caseload across various hospital wards and units.
Key responsibilities include: Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management to patients with acute health conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, to deliver patient-centered care.
Manage a diverse caseload, including post-surgical, medical, and other acute conditions requiring physiotherapy.
Support rehabilitation and recovery goals tailored to each patient's needs.
Document patient care, progress notes, and reports accurately in compliance with hospital policies and standards To be successful in the role you will have: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Current general AHPRA registration (essential)
Australian working rights (essential)
National Police Clearance
