**About Us**

The Iron Duke Hotel is an independent local pub renown for our expansive beer garden, popular food offering and a large selection of craft beer on tap. Our staff like our customers are a diverse mix of characters, creating a welcoming and relaxed pub environment.

**The Role**

We are seeking a bartender starting at 20 hours per week (3 shifts), with the potential for extra shifts and room for growth within the company in the future.

We are looking for a confident and outgoing professional, who stays calm under pressure behind the bar and keep things light hearted with the customers whilst taking pride in the reputation of the hotel.

You will be constantly interacting with customers to ensure guest experience. Good knowledge of craft beer and solid cocktail skills would be beneficial, but not essential.

Hours are flexible with a mix of day and night shifts. We can work around outside interests or studies if you work with us to make sure that we have appropriate staff numbers on peak periods.

**About You**
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential. Experience in other hospitality roles and general customer service experience would be favourable.
- Passion for customer experience. We treat patrons how we would like to be treated when we go to the pub.
- Attention to detail to spot an issue with service and have the confidence to solve it, not avoid it.
- Bring a positive energy to the team and light-heartedness to the patrons.
- RSA training.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
