**Position Title**: Carer / Support Worker
**Location**: Offices based in Menora/Joondalup and clients spread throughout various Perth metropolitan suburbs.

We are currently seeking fun and committed individuals to join our team of carers and
support workers at Casson Communities

**About the business**

Casson Homes Inc has been providing supportive accommodation since 1922 for those marginalised and living with a mental illness. The Casson Communities division provides specialist mental health support to NDIS clients throughout the community.

**About the role**

You will be providing support to NDIS clients in the community in order to help them achieve their goals as set out in their NDIS plans. This includes helping clients access the community and increase social participation, assistance with personal care
(showering/toileting), transport, helping clients improve life and personal skills, and
providing emotional support.

**Skills and experience**

A certificate III in aged care or equivalent is required.
communication skills, punctuality, good time management skills, and an ability to actively listen are essential.

**Position requirements**
- Own a comprehensively insured vehicle to transport clients and drivers license
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Willing to obtain an annual flu vaccination
- NDIS worker screening check (can be obtained after interview if successful)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $38.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Public holidays
