Overview
Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking a Store Person to join our team at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
This casual role supports the smooth running of daily operations within a busy store environment, with standard site hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.
The role involves receiving and managing stock, maintaining an organised workspace and delivering supplies to Defence locations to ensure efficient distribution of essential materials across sites.
Responsibilities
Use the computer system to track stock quantities and locations.
Deliver supplies to other Defence locations across South Australia.
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move goods safely.
Ensure proper custody of inventory by conducting regular stock checks, monitoring quantities, assessing equipment for deterioration, tracking shelf-life expiration and ensuring the security of all items.
Assist with general store duties, including packing and scheduling.
Perform regular cleaning tasks to keep the store tidy and organised.
What We Offer
Casual position – approximately 30 hours per week.
Pay rate: $38.85 per hour + 12% super (casual loading).
Additional allowances for laundry and first aid (if/when certified).
Uniform and PPE provided.

Qualifications / About You
Valid Australian driver's licence (essential).
Experience in warehousing or store environments (desirable).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in systems such as Microsoft Suite and SAP (desirable).
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance; Australian citizenship required.
