**The Opportunity**:
As a consultant you will help contribute to the growth of Urbis' Engagement and Stakeholder Strategy offering. Drawing on your skills and achievements, you will bring considerable leadership, credibility, and professionalism to the role, build and maintain new and existing relationships with clients, and lead our enthusiastic team.

**You will**:

- Providing specialist advice to our clients on strategic engagement, stakeholder management and community consultation, to support strategic and statutory planning, development, place and urban policy.
- Designing and delivering tailored engagement strategies to build understanding, create local ownership and to inform sustainable decision making.
- Drafting persuasive and engaging communications materials.
- Delivering high quality professional services to clients.
- Supporting the Director of Engagement in the management of the offer, including contributing to the delivery of the business and growth strategy.
- Working collaboratively with Directors and staff in the Urban Planning team, design teams and other business areas.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across the Perth office and the broader firm on cross-disciplinary projects.

**About You**:
Ideally, you will have strong knowledge of the WA planning and policy system, great commercial acumen, a strong network, and be looking to take the next step in your career.
- Tertiary qualifications (finalised or in progress) in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Place, Community or Economic Development or a related discipline
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and produce high-quality results.
- Relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.

- Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills including producing well written and insightful reports as well as confidence in presenting to internal and external clients.
- Experience in providing constructive and timely feedback to the team to try out new ideas and opportunities in support of their development.
- Experience in producing well considered and articulated recommendations that are commercial in nature and practically grounded to address the needs of clients.
