Quest Kelvin Grove is a 85 room hotel located in the heart of the Kelvin Grove Urban Village only 2km away from Brisbane CBD. Quest Kelvin Grove opened in 2015 and has one of the top rank hotel in Tripadvisor (7th out of 146 hotels in Brisbane).

At Quest Kelvin Grove, we're on the lookout for new Housekeepers to join our team of locals on a casual/part-time/full-time basis working 20-40 hours per week.

The Role

Quest Kelvin Grove's housekeepers are highly valued members of our team, and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business.

In particular, the role involves providing housekeeping and room attendant services for (studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom & 3 bedroom) apartments and cleaning common areas to ensure high standards of presentation of the property in line with the Quest brand standards, and efficient operations based on occupancy demands and guest needs.

Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanor, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, discretion in guest interaction, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety. An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals is key.

Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role ideally in a business environment is essential, and qualifications and prior experience in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
