**About the Centre/Service**
Hazel Glen Kindergarten, located in the Hazel Glen Child and Family Centre, opened in 2015 and forms part of Hazel Glen College, situated in Doreen, in the City of Whittlesea. Our service offers, 3 year old kindergarten, 4 year old kindergarten and an Extended Care program. Our dedicated team is committed to the belief that each child is unique and that all children have the potential and desire to learn. We provide a supportive and innovative educational program of the highest quality for our children and families. We are proud of our warm, welcoming and nurturing environment that we have created for our community. We have a strong staffing team who are passionate and dedicated Early Childhood professionals. We have a culture based on being highly motivated, energetic, organized and enthusiastic. **Work Days of the Role**
Monday 8.30am-12.30pm and Friday 6.45am-2.00pm
**Hours of Work of the Role**

**Description**
This role is for a Kindergarten Assistant to relieve other staff for breaks and other duties as required by the Centre Director. It will include working in all of our Kindergarten rooms.
**Qualifications**
Must be Certificate 3 or Diploma qualified
**Requirements**:
WWCC
**Additional Requirements**
Selection Criteria SC1 Demonstrated experience and skills working as an educator in a kindergarten in line with the Child Safe Standards and College Code of Conduct. SC2 Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills. SC3 Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team. SC4 Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others. SC5 An awareness of the NQS & EYLF / VEYLDF
