Reporting to the **Operations Manager,** the **Service Rebuild Advisor **will be required to work closely with maintenance technicians guiding with parts reusage and alternate repair options for Components and Machines.

You will recommend/approve, re-use, salvage and replace parts to be used during the repair process for final cost. Additionally, be required to complete and update Core Appraisal Reports (CAR) with photos and reuse requirements of worn or replaced items as well as guidance for customer owned iron repair quotes.

The Service Rebuild Advisor will also provide to the business, technical assistance with Failure Analysis (FA) reporting relating to component failures carried out within the Perth Branch operational stores.

**Roster**:5/2 10hr

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-trade experience, particularly in Caterpillar Component Rebuilds with advanced level mechanical aptitude in components
- Completed Caterpillars Applied Failure Analysis 1 training
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Knowledge of and experience in utilising continuous improvement and lean principle methodologies
