**About Us**: At Scribbles and Giggles Childcare Centre, we are committed to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our state-of-the-art childcare center offers a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where children can grow, explore, and thrive. **Role and Responsibilities**: As a Childcare Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging environment for both children and educators. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supervising a team of dedicated educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's individual needs and interests.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and staff members, promoting open communication and trust.
- Observing and assessing children's development and progress, and providing guidance and support to educators.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety guidelines, and our center's policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular staff meetings, professional development sessions, and performance evaluations to support the growth and development of educators.
- Collaborating with families to ensure a smooth transition for children into the room and maintaining ongoing communication about their child's progress.
- Actively participating in the center's quality improvement processes and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the learning environment.

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- A genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a difference in their lives.
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Availability Monday - Friday
- Excellent knowledge of child development principles and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
- A current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid Working with Children Check.
