**About the role**:

- Reimaging, re-engineering and streamlining HSE processes across all BU's
- Consolidating and modernising HSE & RAC systems (think OCIS, Stature and more)
- Improving use of 3rd party services across all BU's and in turn reducing spend
- Building a business case for the future of HSE Innovation, assessing opportunities where we can use technology such as drones, robotics, and more to remove people from harms way and find efficiencies

These priorities are critical to enable us to deliver on our ambitions of becoming a business partner of choice, providing low cost but high-quality processes, services, systems, and tools to support Origin and our operating business units to deliver on their strategic priorities and delivering industry leading HSE performance.

Initially the key activity for this new team will be to establish the team and foundations to deliver on these priorities and importantly building the business case for priorities 1 and 2 to take forward to the Origin Investment Committee (OIC). Subject to approval, this team will then be responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the assessment and evaluation of current HSE processes across all business units, identifying key areas for re-engineering and streamlining to enhance efficiency and alignment.
- Participate in the process to identify and select a new system/vendor that will enable the consolidation and modernization of HSE and RAC systems, such as OCIS and Stature.
- Develop comprehensive data-driven insights to support the business case, demonstrating the financial and operational benefits of consolidating and upgrading HSE & RAC systems.
- Ensure that HSE regulatory and business requirements are identified and will be met in the design and development of the project.

**What will you bring?**
- 5-10 years' experience in HSE or risk management system development and implementation into a business.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety/Engineering/Human Resources.
- Contemporary and innovative thinking to HSE processes and systems.
- Project management experience in a HSE environment.
- Ability to effectively manage a variety of stakeholders.
- Coaching, influencing, communication and consultation skills.
