The successful Senior Data Scientist will secure a 12-month contract, with two 12-month extensions, and receive a rewarding hourly rate.The successful Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for, but not limited to :Maintaining and developing data systems to support 'data-informed diplomacy' objectivesConducting data analysis and visualisation activitiesMaintaining and developing AI tools to support policy analysisThe successful Senior Data Scientist will have experience in the following :Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, R, Python, SQL, and AI APIs / libraries (Azure, OpenAI)Hands-on experience with Power BI and DAXBackground in data wrangling, cleaning, modelling, and integration across multiple sourcesThis is a great opportunity within a Federal Government agency, offering contract stability until 2026, extension options, and the chance to apply your data science and AI expertise to meaningful policy analysis
The successful Senior Data Scientist will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended for 2 x 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate
