As a result of continuos growth in Australia and an impressive pipeline of projects, they are looking to bring on an experienced project engineer to join the team and continue this success.HighlightsFast Pace Work Environment With Highly Experienced Market ExpertsWork Across Well Reknowned Utility Scale Renewable ProjectsExciting Pipeline Of Wind, Solar And BESS (Hybrid Projects)About Our ClientThe organisation is a market leader in the space and one of the most significant owners (nationally/internationally) of renewable energy assets, with continued success in the Australian renewable energy market.The RoleThe Project Engineer position will focus across the initial development, design, technical due diligence and construction / engineering of major Solar, BESS and Wind assets across most states of Australia.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven background in the Australian renewable energy sector, havign handled development and delivery previously across grid connected projects.ResponsibilitiesAssist team through construction/delivery of renewable energy projectsProvide assistance and at times lead the engineering design to develop concept designsConduct energy yield assessments of Solar, BESS and Wind assetsTake the lead on technical due diligence processes of renewable projects and opportunities.Preparing/Reviewing Project Requirements and liaise with consultants outside of the organisationClosely monitor construction/commissioning processes for complianceContribute effectively across multiple projects to provide support in the development, engineering and construction disciplinesQualifications / Skills5 - 7 years of prior experience in engineering or construction of Solar, Hybrid, BESS or Wind projectsStrong communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamSelf motivated individual with the willingness to learn & ability to also work autonomously.An engineering degree (Electrical Engineering preferred)Full working rights within AustraliaAbiltiy to travel to project sites/locations across Australia as required.
