. Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for permanent full-time local Team Members to join our Gas crew at Gepps Cross SA depot.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout the gas distribution networks in the Adelaide area.
Perform mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance and minor construction activities
Provide reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issues
Assist with ordering and installing materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated works
Carry out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution system
Qualifications and Experience
Site Proficient: Previous experience working within excavation, landscaping or outdoor work, with previous Gas, Civil or utilities experience
Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform physically demanding tasks
Team Oriented: Ability to work effectively within a team with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card (within the last 3 years). MR, HR, MC or relevant Truck Licence (required). Gas Test Atmosphere, Plumbing or Gas Fitter qualifications (desired). Must be clean shaven. Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical
About You
Safety Focus: Value collaboration and Zero Harm
Roster/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm + Overtime; 7 Day Standby roster scheduled every 12 weeks
Environment: Supportive, team-oriented organisation with RDOs and potential overtime
