We have a full time fixed term position available for Maintenance/Handyperson at our beautiful Toowoomba Aged Care facility.

Our facility features a state-of-the-art design, making the most of its tranquil semi-rural setting with spectacular valley views, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens with walking paths.

**Your Role**

As a Maintenance/Handyperson you'll be looking after the facility and grounds for the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

- Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of all equipment before leaving the Facility each day.
- Manage garbage disposal by ensuring that refuse bins are always properly loaded, positioned for pick up and cleaned after pick up.
- Maintain maintenance schedules outlined in the duties list and ensure all scheduled checks are carried out.
- Perform driving duties of Ozcare vehicles (as required).
- Undertake courier and delivery duties (as required).
- liaising with the gardening team

**Role Requirements**
- A Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry, e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
- Be vaccinated against Influenza & have at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Demonstrated experience in stock management
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in basic administration
- Good computer and mobile device skills
