We're looking for a reliable and experienced Fitter Machinist to carry out maintenance, repairs, and fitting of mechanical components across a variety of plant and machinery. In addition to your hands-on work, you'll play a key role in supporting and guiding apprentices, sharing your knowledge to help them develop their skills and confidence.
Your Role in Action
Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mechanical equipment and componentsOperate workshop machinery including lathes, mills, and grinders to produce or modify partsFit, assemble, and install mechanical systems and machinery componentsEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standardAccurately document maintenance activities and complete job records
Your Winning Combination
Our ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Engineering - (Mechanical Fitting), along with a current Confined Space certificate, a valid Safe Working at Heights certificate, and driver's license. If you have additional certificates, that's a plus But don't sweat it if you don't—we're here to help you learn and grow in your role
