Our Coober Pedy service operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, providing high-quality nursing care in clinics and patients' homes.
As part of your role, you'll provide nursing services including:
Wound and CVAD management
Urinary catheter and stoma care
Baxter infusions and medication administration
Post-acute and aged care support
You'll also work within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team alongside specialist nurses in areas such as diabetes, cancer care, stoma management, palliative care, community aged care, and NDIS support.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide person-centred nursing care and advanced clinical services in community health settings.
Take accountability for your practice standards, delegate tasks appropriately, and support staff development.
Mentor less experienced staff and students to develop their skills.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care outcomes.
Manage and prioritize your workload effectively to meet care goals.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety and care standards.
What We're Looking For :
Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of post-registration experience
Ability to lead, support, and mentor nursing staff, including students and enrolled nurses.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, with flexibility and creativity in clinical issues.
Ability to work independently, prioritize care, and meet deadlines.
Solid wound care knowledge, including dressings and healing processes.
Understanding of contemporary healthcare issues and quality systems.
