The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations in the Wine Loft, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and expanding their knowledge of food and wine service.About the role:You will serve our dine-in customers, creating memorable experiences while showcasing seasonal produce and a curated selection of wines from Australia and around the world.Recently launching BOTO, a small Teppanyaki kitchen within the Wine Loft, we now offer an extensive range of Japanese-inspired dishes using premium meat, fish, and produce.The successful candidate must provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive, efficient, collaborative team environment focused on delivering an incredible guest experience.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Perth's most recognized businesses, with room for growth and personal development.Responsibilities include:Greeting guests as the 'host' of the Wine Bar and facilitating engaging, memorable dining experiences from start to finish.Serving wine, beer, and spirits, and coordinating with the BOTO Teppanyaki Kitchen to ensure smooth service.Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in a team setting.Facilitating sales in the retail wine and spirits section, with strong knowledge of wine properties and styles across regions.Providing friendly, attentive service with a passion for hospitality.Building rapport with customers and leading the front-of-house team to uphold high service standards.Requirements:Extensive hospitality, food, and wine service experience with excellent customer service skills.Knowledge of wine is essential; WSET or equivalent certifications are beneficial.Weekend and evening shifts are mandatory (9 pm close, 4-5 nights per week).
