Pharmacy Intern

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a full-time Intern Pharmacist to join a busy pharmacy in Tweed Heads South, NSW. You will be joining a Medium to larger retail shopping centre pharmacy combination of prescriptions and retail supported by a Pharmacist, Dispense Technician & Pharmacy Assistants. Focus on patient health checks, general health and wellness advice.

*Desirable that you have the ability to dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently according to Pharmacy Board regulations (Training will be offered for those who cannot dispense)
*Assist with all S2/S3 inquiries.
*Development of strong product knowledge with a focus on providing the right pharmacy solutions and product recommendations.
*Ability to coordinate with other team members the daily flow of scripts in and out.
*Interest in 7CPA professional services, with a focus on clinical intervention goals.
*Passion to build customer relations through effective counselling and health promotion activities in store.
*Coordinate daily with the DAA team, dose administration priorities.

*Experience in a pharmacy retail environment is desirable.
*Organised with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Strong communication and time management skills.
*Responsible, reliable and punctual.
*Be able to work well within a team environment.
*Flexible working hours including the ability to work weekends where required.

**About the Location**:
Tweed Heads South is a town located on the Tweed River in north-eastern New South Wales, Australia, in Tweed Shire.

A number of well-known sporting teams represent the local area, including the local rugby league club South Tweed RLFC and South Tweed Heads Colts Junior Cricket Club who play home games at Les Burger Fields. South Tweed Skate park is there, too.

**The Offer**:
Temporary Full Time Pharmacist Internship over Twelve months, Pharmacy Industry Award Rates apply.
Paid annual Internship registration fees.
Intern Pharmacist professional development identified on commencement and a structured training plan developed and implemented according to the individuals needs and interests.
On completion and qualification as a Pharmacist, the opportunity of Permanent Full-time employment to join our group of Pharmacies on the Gold Coast.

**Salary**: From $26.12 per hour
